It's GLORIOUS morning! It sounded like a thousand birds talking to one another this morning at 4:30. There was fog before the sun came up and then just that PERFECT Spring morning.
I plan to start painting a layer off paint on my series then while it is drying, do some gardening. I hope to go back and forth with this plan until the sun or heat does me in.
I noticed that my Daylilies are starting to bud out and some have just started to open.
I'm looking out my window at an old Oak tree and the new leaves are this beautiful bright yellow green color. I don't know if I ever noticed it before. I can't imagine how I missed seeing it.
Louis won't leave me alone when I sit down at the laptop. It's as if he can't tell me enough how sorry he is for just being a cat. I just whisper to him that I am so glad he didn't wander off so far he couldn't find his way home again.
I hope that what ever it is you are doing today you find some pleasure in doing it. I hope that even if you are in a place you don't want to be that you can look around you and find something beautiful for your eyes to rest on. I hope that you carry a little notebook with you and that you write down your ideas and dreams, that you find the words to describe what you see, hear and smell.
That you don't take your senses for granted.
That you don't allow your circumstances to determine how you view the world.
That you remember that you are a creative being in a physical body that allows you to participate in this world.
That you above all remember that you are so much more than you think you are and that believing just that statement might change your direction in life.
