Sunday night details

I finished this today. I wanted to call it Aurigare but my Latin is rather rusty and I couldn't remember if it needed a THE or if it didn't and what it would be if it did. sigh... So, I decided to just call it The Regatta. It's a fused fabric piece.
It's one of the pieces that I was working on as an extension of the exercises of shapes and lines.
It also reminds me of the abstract art pieces that I was doing last year.
I watched about an hour of the Oscars. We didn't really get to that many movies this past year, I guess, because I made a list of some of the ones that were nominated that we haven't seen.
The Iron Lady with Meryl Streep
The adventures of Tintin
Albert Nobbs with Glen Close
Beginners
The Descendants
Midnight in Paris
and a couple more.
I'll be updating my Netflix list tonight.

So, I've been getting a few emails from impatient people waiting to hear a story. Just hang in there, they are coming. Watch for the title line, STORY TIME or something along that line.

Tomorrow, I'm off to help hang the art work in the Senior Center show. I sprayed a wonderful Walnut branch with white and gold to use in the display case to hang our soft sculpture Muse dolls.
I have to remember to take my pruners with me because I think it's way to big for the case.

Wisconsin beat Ohio State today, in basketball. That was an exciting game and I thoroughly enjoyed watching it, on MY SCHEDULE. We taped it, had our dinner and then watched it.
Got to speed through all the commercials. I can't believe it took us so long to get cable. This is really the only feature I wanted.

Time to toddle off to bed. The wind is really strong outside.  The nice thing is it seems to be coming from the South and that may mean a warm up in our temperatures. Anything to melt this new snow is fine with me.

Sweet dreams and hope you remember yours.

:)Bea
