So many things............

Thank you everyone that passed on a helpful suggestion for turning skinny tubes. It's so helpful when people tell me what they use or do especially when they tell me it works for turning tiny little doll fingers. Actually, that's probably why I never made any dolls like that. I love to look at them but the idea of trying to turn little fingers and toes sent shivers down my spine.
I often pick up the Doll Magazine when I am in B & N and take a look at it while I have my tea. So many beautiful expressive dolls in the magazine done by such talented people.

Zeus nixed the idea of a pocket. He said these little monsters where just fun and that should be their sole purpose. He tied the ears together and tossed the little monster back to me. If that's the kind of fun that some little kid in the hospital has with them and it makes them smile when they play with them, that's it, that's the purpose.

Zeus and I seemed to have talked ourselves out of going to any more live UW Basketball games. I'm not sure how it happened, a comment here and a comment there. It's a looooooooooong cold walk for Zeus when he has to park the car and hike it back to the Kohl center. He usually drops me off first.
Our seats are fine, up in the second balcony but they aren't as good as sitting on our couch, with the big screen, cat on our laps and a dog snuggled up against us. Not to mention if one of us has to get up for any reason the TV will pause the live action for us and catch us up when we get back to our seats. Sure beats listening to the radio announcers, in the bathroom.
We got old, didn't we? lol
Nah, TV got better.
I can't say I miss driving downtown in snowstorms, walking back to the car in the BITTER cold, listening to the people behind me talk about everything in the world BUT basketball, the basketball that is right in front of them. I don't have to go to Rocky's anymore and watch the away game, stretched out on the BIG BIG screen and nurse a beer and piece of pizza for the entire game.
It was fun but staying at home watching it with Zeus and the gang is "funner".

Tonight is the beginning of the second season of Downton Abby. I'm looking forward to that. Thoroughly, enjoyed the first season.

I missed Neverland, the mini series that aired in December.  Did anybody watch it?  Was it any good?
I was really looking forward to seeing it and then December just seemed to slip away.

Ok, off to create more little monsters.  Have a day of creating for yourself.  :)Bea

  1. Bea I just created my first thing for 2012 and first thing for a very long while. I want to thank you - you're always creating and helped give me a little spark. I'm so happy with the way it turned out - now if only I had a computer that I could download pictures to...LOL Patience, patience, income tax will be here in less than two months LOL

  2. We stayed home tonight with candle light while Ken watched his games and I put my legs up over him...comfortable yes mam!!! Comfort in a comfortable space. I love the little monsters...Riley is going to need a whole audience. I have a new baby quilt to make for a new nephew...not really art but I know this will cuddle a new baby in our lives!
