Let's see, news update.......no blood clot. I had an ultrasound done yesterday and it showed that everything seems to be in order. Of course, with the obvious ruled out now the doctor is perplexed as to why just one foot looks like a marshmallow.
On the home front, the air conditioner guy is coming to install a new air conditioner. It seems even what you think might be the best on the market doesn't seem to last ten years anymore.
Even bigger news, is TOMORROW we will have cable. I worked out a sweet package with my telephone carrier that has me paying just $10.00 more a month and I get cable with all the goodies and a bump up in my megs for my Internet, so as a good friend often tells me, LIFE IS GOOD.
Not that I need to watch 220 mindless channels. We are primarily getting this for the sports that our regular station doesn't carry. Those away games, etc. At least that's the story we are putting out there.
The amount of time you can spend on the phone these days is amazing. I did balance my checkbook, pay some bills, read a few flyers while I was put on hold, waited for call backs or just got moved from one person to another.
I joined Plato, the Adult Education Classes, through the University of Wisconsin. I'll see what daytime classes they are offering.
I'll see if I can get the plants, around the pond, weeded and mulched today. I probably should cut the grass too. The rest of the week is going to be busy enough.
Mary and Riley arrive home today. They have been missed.
