Where In The World Is Bea?

I haven't dropped off the face of the earth, although I'm sure to some it seems like that.
I am NO LONGER in the land of ice and snow but am enjoying the sunshine and warmer, MUCH warmer temperatures of Florida.
We arrived on Monday after a long, quiet travel day.
We drove up to Largo to visit my mother. She appeared in good health, nothing broken, for a change and her mind as sharp as ever.
Today, I'm just getting some much needed Vit. D therapy.
I had a crown put on a front tooth before we left, on our trip and by Monday something was terribly wrong.
You have to love the Internet. We looked up my dentist's webpage, got her emergency contact number, called and she was able to call in a prescription to the nearest drugstore.
Today, I am finally NOT aware of my mouth which is very pleasant.
So, I've brought down some art supplies to do some playing, while I alternate between the sun therapy, heated pool therapy, eating out therapy and doing some painting.
I did take a walk this morning and came across some people doing some watercolor painting of the swamp area. That was fun to watch, for a bit.
I've been having so much fun with acrylics lately that I've forgotten how much I enjoy watercolor too. Soooooooooo much to do!
I hope we get to the beach sometime this week. Especially, around sunset, you know how much I enjoy taking sunset pictures.
I can't get over how green it is and the bird song, on my! I really do miss that during winter.
I have a CD that I play that has bird song, on it but it's just not quite the same.
I promised Gina that I would get back to posting.
I think when you are away for a while you forget why you enjoy blogging.
Since Christmas I guess I really haven't felt much like talking about anything, just getting through each day trying to focus on the NOW around me.
Well, I'm in good health, now, soaking up the sun, getting a change of view, landscape and weather and it's certainly working.
I hope that I can start to truly catch up on my blog reading. Thanks for being patient with me.

:)Bea Who hopes that everybody has been creating up a STORM since January 1st.

  1. BEA!!! You came to my neck of the woods and didn't reach out?? Where are you staying?

  2. Aww....well, good to hear your mouth is feleing better and no longer has the best of you! =D

    Have fun in FL!

  3. I am just so happy to hear from you and I wish you all of the vitamin D therapy that you can soak up. I love the swamp environment.... Audubon's (spelling) Corkscrew Sanctuary is near Naples and is totally mind blowing. Enjoy your healing journey and we will wait patiently as you renew your creative juices. Peace be with you dear friend. Mary Helen Fernandez Stewart

  4. Thanks for the good wishes dear friends. It seems to have been an up and down ride since Christmas although, I remember back in November wondering about my flagging energy. It just feels wonderful to be back to close to "normal" for me. I hope to stop by and say hello to everybody today. :)Bea

  5. So good to see you back. Hope you just keep feeling better every day. Just savor the peaceful things that spread out before you!

  6. So glad you got somewhere warm for a nice visit and rest. Miss visiting your blog!!!!
