GOODBYE WILSON

I am home from the hospital. I actually got home the same day, around dinner time. Surgery was a success. They removed a volley ball size mass, weighing in about 6 pounds. Apparently, my right ovary decided to grow, on it's own. Both ovaries were removed along with the fallopian tubes. No cancer was found in the tissues. ALL GOOD NEWS!
I have three small incisions that really don't bother me at all. Getting up and down reminds me that I had surgery. I feel WONDERFUL.
I am so relieved that the cultures came back negative for cancer cells. I am MOST relieved to have that large, growing mass, taken out before it decided to do something awful.
Thank heavens I had enough pain and sense to take myself to the Urgent Care and get advise and help from a wonderful doctor.

I WANT TO THANK EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU for your prayers, meditations, thoughts, healing light and emails. They were most appreciated.
I'm glad to be back to focusing my attention outside of myself. Enough of that!

:)Bea Be creative, in some way, just BE CREATIVE.

  5. Oh Bea I was so tickled to hear the great news. A mass is weird isn't it. I had one in my nasophyarnx (also benign) that was only walnut sized. Glad they found it when they did. I can't imagine one volleyball size. Boy, will you be feeling better now with that thing gone! Take it easy and just get better okay! :)

  14. Oh what a huge relief - that ol' ovary just couldn't take no for an answer? I was worried. Especially since I recalled you saying there would be a post up the day after. Thank Jesus, God, Buddha, etc. that it was Mr. Wilson with an s and no c!
And God Bless you for your sense of humor too!
