Reporting from New Mexico

Monday, it's Monday and I feel like I've been on vacation for weeks and weeks. OOoooooh we are having a wonderful time. Flights here to New Mexico went smoothly. Our drive up to Santa Fe very pleasant. I find myself just being able to BREATHE here. For those of us that have crappy sinuses I'm telling you New Mexico is the place to go.
Denver airport has a problem with mold. I could smell it as soon as we deplaned and were walking to B56 to get our flight to New Mexico. Sure screwed up my nose even for the short time we were there.
We arrived at High Feather Ranch after dinner. Our room is the corner one and it's just beautiful. I love it here. Too much moon out Friday night to see the stars. But by the next couple of nights the sky was gorgeous. Just seeing the Milky Way again was a treat.
We used to be able to see a really clear night sky but the lights from Madison are just too bright these days.
Very sad.
We're up in Taos now in an amazing resort. I have a ton of pictures and if I could download them now and show you I would but the battery on my camera has to recharge. Maybe tomorrow?
Ok, time to watch the Packers and the Da Bears.

:)Bea I have pages of art ideas that have been coming to me in my dream time. OOOOoh so many, I'm so excited about this winter.

Take some time to do a computer 'fast' too while you are gone Bea. I know you will. :) Can't wait to see pics. I lost mine from my Wimberly trip, :( But I've got the memories. :) Have fun.

  7. I love New Mexico and have an artist cousin that has wanted me to come and visit. Your post is making me think I should do just that. Thanks for stopping by my blog...like you I've gotten a bit behind in my blog reading. Now that fall is in full swing I think some nesting is coming on and I'll stay on top of it a bit better.

  8. Thanks for all the feedback. I'm in a PLUSH, PLUSH resort and spa in Taos but the Internet connection is slow, slow, slow.
I'm off to walk downtown Taos and take in all the art. I can't wait to share with you all what I've seen. :)Bea
