Busy, busy ladies.

I brought my bin of silk tie pieces and boy did we have fun. A long time ago I participated in an Ebay auction and won this large bag filled with these beautiful pieces of silk. At the time I was doing a lot of crazy quilting and I thought I would be using them in that. Turns out they make great beads too. I forget whose pile of beads these were but I know that the next step will be to find just the right yarns, threads or wire and beads to wrap around these lovelies.
I had to stop participating in Ebay auctions. I react in a strange way to them. I get obsessed with winning. Or at least I did. Since I didn't like my behavior I decided just to avoid the whole scene.
Somebody else can win the goodies.
We played in the studio for about three and half hours and I bet if some of us didn't have to go pick up puppies from doggie day care or go home and start supper we would have stayed well into the dinner hour.
I've got to start packing my bag. I am so ready for an interesting trip to a place I love.
:)Bea I'm planning on taking the laptop with me. Hope to check in during the week. I'll be back next weekend. NEW MEXICO HERE I COME. Now, go Create.

Amazon launched two new Kindle e-readers priced at $139 and $189 late Wednesday, with the cheaper version a Wi-Fi-only e-reader and $10 less than the Wi-Fi-only Nook.
