The Sketchbook Project 2011

The Sketchbook Project 2011

There are over 10,000 artists participating in this and there is still time if you are interested in signing up. :)Bea

I'm adding this quote from the site:
"Each artist is sent the same blank Moleskine sketchbook. We've only got two rules: first, the book must be used in some way - no sending us back an empty book or a completely different book! Second, the sketchbook must stay within its original dimensions (because we don't want to have to provide an extra suitcase just for your book while we're touring the country)."

As far as I am concerned that means I can do whatever I want to the moleskin as long as I keep it the same size and not empty. I'll use whatever medium I want, I don't sketch so there will be fiber, collage, photographs, etc.

  1. You know I have looked at this several times and would love to join but I am not a sketcher....more into collage and chalks...and I could not locate anything on he website that stated anything about what mediums We could use. :(

I received my moleskin with the barcode on the back of it. It's just the small one, the same as the ones I bought in bulk at B & N.
I plan on using whatever medium I want, fiber, paint, photographs to work with my theme, If You Lived Here. I'm rebinding the moleskin.
I'm staying with the same size and keeping the barcode visible on the back other than that, it's going to be my work and I don't sketch. lol :)Bea

  3. It sounds very exciting and I'm tempted but I know I haven't the time.
