Photo of one of my fabric paper pages.

I know I was cranky the other day about a current movie that Zeus and I had been to see. I thought I would tell you about one we rented and watched last night, SERAPHINE.

It's the true story of Seraphine Louis a very devout housekeeper who in 1905 at the age of 41 began painting brilliantly. In 1912, a German art critic discovered her paintings while she was working for him as his maid. Two hours long and filled with beautiful landscape photography of France, a look at a woman driven to create and yet had to work and work to earn the money to buy her supplies or steal what she needed to create her own paints.

Her "angel" guided her hands, is what she told people.
"She painted for those on high."

Here is a link to take you to see some posters of her paintings.

Treat yourself to an enjoyable evening and watch Seraphine.

:)Bea Who is going to be out in the studio letting her muses guide her brush.
