How about a little heat and humidity for you?

It's going to be another HOT week here. I thought this picture of the penguin pool would have a nice cooling effect. Is it working?

There are little yellow leaves falling from the trees. It's tooooooooooooooooo early for leaves to start falling. I've hardly been able to get out to my garden. Between the hot, humid weather and the bugs it's been a challenge. Good thing I planted mostly tiny tomatoes. I can run out grab a handful and pop them in my mouth.

The Tangerine Sky room is now ready for my good friend to spend the week relaxing in. Someone once laughed at me for naming thing. I do tend to do that. The other guest room is the Lemon Drop room. Hey, the names make me smile when I'm cleaning the room and changing the bed sheets.

I name my studio, my car, my dog, kids, husband, cellphone and sewing machine and renamed myself. Since almost all of them respond to their assigned names I guess it isn't such a bad thing.

I worked in the studio yesterday, YAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAY. Mary even came out when Riley was napping and worked on a painting she is creating. It was nice to just have two people quietly working on their own projects up there. Thank heavens for the AC. Thank you Justin!!!!

I have some cleaning to get to, nothing major but still cleaning up from last week's company. Then off to grocery shop. I did cut the grass last night. Well, most of the grass. I was at it for two hours and then just called it quits. If somebody actually wants to walk on the far prairie paths they will have to just step a little higher until I get around to cutting that area. The grass is unbelievable thick from all the rain and even with two dry days I still had to deal with wet thick grass. I do a little dance with the tractor, lift the blade, turn on the blade, turn off the blade, lower the blade, turn on the blade and then back up. It seems to work with spitting out all the clogged up wet cut grass but it's a pain in the butt to keep doing all the time.

:)Bea Stay cool, go create something.
