Update on the gardens at Dog In The Hole

Murphy and I took a drive, this morning to see how things were growing, in our area. Everything looks so lush right now.

I worked in the garden for a little bit, took some pictures of what's new in the garden and around Dog In The Hole. I put them in an album you can look at when you have time.

It's about 83 degrees and although I am warm I refuse to turn on the ac. I've had it on during the muggy spell we had and I just want to let some fresh air in the house. I love having the windows open.

Mary had to work today so I got to take Riley to her 12 month check up. She was having a fine time, smiling at everyone, flirting with the staff, dancing in the doctor's office and then came her shots. NOT A HAPPY CAMPER. But, she didn't hold me responsible but wrapped her arms around my neck and sobbed. I dropped her off at day care and when I left she was showing Henry her three bandages from her shots.

Tonight, the plan is dinner out and a movie. I would like to see Toy Story 3. We'll see. Depends on how tired Zeus is when he gets home.

I hope you all have a wonderful creative weekend.

:)Bea Who is going to be in the studio, fer sure.

  1. poor little riley - that's always such a shock for the little ones.

  2. Mim, it's been a long, long time since I had to take a little one to the doctor's. Her little face was so sad on the drive home. I felt terrible. After she came home from day care it was as if she never remembered that Grammy was the one that took her. :)Bea

  3. Those shots of the garden are amazing. I cannot believe how many different flowers you have!!

  4. Love the flower pics! :) Boy, I remember those days of taking the kids to get their shots, but I've never taken the grandkids yet. That would be different for sure. :)
