End of a great vacation.

Our last day on the Cape and it's been a wonderful vacation. The party last night was great, the live band fun and quite a few excellent singers from the group got up to sing a few rounds with the band.
The fireworks were absolutely wonderful. I really haven't been to fireworks since the kid grew up and went with their own friends. Here we had first class viewing seats from a neighbors lawn, right on the water's edge. A half hour of non stop absolutely amazing fireworks.
I, of course, took a lot of pictures.......when you take a look at them view them in the slideshow and give yourself more than 3 seconds to see them. I admit some are iffy and you might go hmmmmmm I hope these get better but WAIT, honest WAIT because there are some that are just spectacular.
I don't plan of volunteering for another go around as a human but I tell you if they offer me a lifetime as a Captain of a Starship I might be tempted. Some of these shots make me feel like I'm watching a star exploding in a galaxy instead of watching fireworks over the ocean.
So, enjoy.
Tonight, we go back to Boston, tomorrow, helping James with some odd jobs in their new house and then fly out tomorrow night.
I'll do my catching up on blogs when I get home. Things are very slow here on the Cape.
Also, they don't suggest drinking the tap water. That's too bad.

:)Bea Who hopes she created some interesting photos for you to enjoy.

  1. What a heart memory you have woven...I love the Cape but it has been years since I was last physically there. Thank you for sharing this incredible family reunion and I look forward to seeing the pictures. Have a safe journey home to Wisconsin. Imagine and Live in Peace, Mary Helen Fernandez Stewart

  2. Great fireworks photos Bea.
I love Cape Cod. So beautiful. Met a man there once who wrote a book about his life on the Cape. Goes way back and very interesting. His wife was French and she wrote a book about her life in France. Very charming couple.

  4. Thanks! I haven't seen fireworks in person in a number of years. I tend to stay home and watch them on TV. These were just amazing and gorgeous. :)Bea

  5. Wow, they are just super, especially all the little 'planets' near the end. In Matlock Bath, Derbyshire, they had frequent firework nights which were spectacular so I have seen lots and lots and lots over the years. I just love them. It sounds as though you had a great time and I'm glad.
