The strange and the beautiful.

We had some storms rumbled through last night. Not much in the way of rain but quite a cloud and rainbow show. We had a double rainbow. I put in on my header it was just so gorgeous.

  1. I have seen several double rainbows, but it has been a long time ago. Love all your photos you put in your header all the time.

  6. Yup, it's tornado season here in the midwest, Mary Helen. The weather spotters get all excited when they can phone in a "touchdown". Me? I'm more concerned when the sirens go off near my house. I grab everybody and down to the basement we go.

  11. Hi Bea,
We had the same weather system, only we now have snow on the ground and the wind was vicious. It's been an awful spring and so weird since we had days in March where it was 68 above. The grass needed to be cut and the apple blossoms were ready to pop and now it looks like winter here again.
Those clouds - I saw them here once about two years ago. They are spooky aren't they? Gee, we'll have to compare clouds! We get odd weather because of our relationship to the Rockies and we get the full blown chinooks. I'm thinking you are "on the other side of the mountain" lol!
Your granddaughter is very clever and wow 10 months and walking...scary!
