Picture Day for Abstract Art

Just a little Zetti project I did, for fun working with the same colors that I am using in my Abstract art projects.

BTW, Mary Helen suggested that those of us following the Abstract challenge might enjoy visiting this particular blog. I agree. Some beautiful abstract work here.

I took a quick picture of my paint and paper collage abstract, still taped to the paint board.
I haven't finished the vertical piece that goes down into the green and I haven't given the paper squares and rectangles a painted glaze to remove all that white showing.
This is a large fiber piece I'm working on, at the same time, just a different arrangement of the colors. I'm finding that I like doing a series of these to experiment with. I still need to sew down the horizontal and bottom vertical squares and rectangles of this piece. This is about 26" x34".
It's going to be wrapped around a canvas and then hung up in the front guest room. The one I painted Tangerine last fall, remember?

Yvonne has posted a picture of what she has done on her blog. Go check it out. :)
