This is my Full Worm Moon art doll. If you look carefully at the bottom of the doll, the earth colored fabric you can see worms. Nice little chenille ones. The next layer up is the tilled fields with some bare bush branches embroidered there. Her head is sky fabric with detail that reminds me of snow. That's March for you, a nice day, then a snow storm, then back to a nice day and so on. Her face is the full moon with a light line of clouds drifting across the face. I used fabric crayons for that. She sits about 8 inches tall.
I'm doing quilt blocks along with the art doll challenge for the Native American Full Moon Series.
This is for the March Full Moon. Our snow just left us and the larger lakes have been breaking up during the past month. Now suddenly, we have Spring and green is popping up all over.
I will post a picture of my art doll later today. She is over in the studio and I am here, which is often the case.

Send me your links, for your blog pictures of your Full Moon Project for March and I will post them here. :)

Reminder: APRIL FULL MOON is known as the Pink Moon, Full Sprouting Grass Moon, Egg Moon and Full Fish Moon.

I just love the April names, don't you? What fun we can have with April.

Remember, you are not limited to working on an art doll. If the Full Moon Month calls you to do something different to represent the name of the month, please follow your muse. Just try to keep it to one of the names for the full moon, for the month.
