800th post for DOG IN THE HOLE BLOG

I started Dog In The Hole Blog in January 2007.

Before that I had a blog called Tea With Bea, started in February of 2006. I posted 100 posts to that blog.

So, with this post I have reached 800 posts to DOG IN THE HOLE BLOG, add on another 100 from the earlier blog and we are getting closer and closer to that 1000th blog post. I think we might have to have a party or something, don't you?

Looking back over some of the posts I think, on the whole, my writing has improved. I know my spelling has for the most part. Thank you spell checker. The arrangement of words sometimes leaves a little to be desired but I was raised by a Pennsylvania Dutch mother who often put the nouns and verbs in the wrong places. And, then there is the problem with the fingers being faster than the brain or is it the other way around? And, of course, the lack of proof reading.........sigh.

All the above aside I have met some wonderful people in blog land. I've watched my Follower's grow from the handful of friends and family that signed up to make me feel better, to 67 at last count. Well, that just blows me away. THANK YOU for taking the time to sign in as a Follower and to pop in and check what's new in my blog.

I've had an opportunity to tell stories, talk about my daily life, share what I'm working on, in the studio from mixed media projects, fiber project and photography.

Following your blogs I've been inspired, learned new things, laughed, said prayers and enjoyed reading about your lives.

Here's a special thank you to all of you for taking the time, out of your busy lives, to drop by.

If you leave a comment I try to respond either on site or from my email addy. I appreciate the comments.

:)Bea Who is just a fellow traveler on the creative path.

When the dim side of "progress" starts weighing me down, it is the realization that things like the internet have put at our fingertips a rich cache of resources and relationships that remind me we are living in an amazing period of history.

    Here's to your contribution. Cheers!

  10. Congrats!

I feel like such a newbie with my combined two blogs of 470+ posts.

Ever since I found your blog in the summer of '09 during one of my monthly blog surfs, I've found it to be an incredibly fascinating read. I may comment on a consistent basis, but rest assured, I read every post that pops up in my reader.

I really do enjoy learning about the arts & crafts that you do with such fantastic skill, and I walk away with a better appreciation of those who do that kind of stuff.

    Here's to future success.
