My own winter wonderland.

Another six inches of snow and it's still snowing. I look around, out my windows and it really does look like a winter wonderland. I try to look at the scenery as if I have no idea what this white stuff is and think about how magical it is. I think it's a more positive approach than my first reaction when I woke up this morning and looked out.

I spent the morning working in the studio. I hadn't planned on finishing my Full Moon Wolfe art doll but I was on a roll and things were coming together nicely so, it's done. I'll post pictures as we get closer to the end of January and the full moon.

It's day four of the Temporal Tapping to stop drinking diet sodas. It's working. No desire for them. No interest. Didn't even miss a beat when I order lunch at Taco Bell and ordered an unsweetened ice tea. I do get a piercing pain over my right eye at 10:00 to about 11:00, which is when I usually had my first DS of the day. I'm having some Earl Grey tea now in the hopes that if it's a caffeine headache it will take care of it. Since I'm getting caffeine in the morning with my coffee and tea at the rest of the day this headache pain seems to be connected to something else.

I suspect I'm still releasing toxins from my system.

I've started tapping for weight loss now. Soon, I'm going to need a football helmet. I saw my red boots yesterday at the Shoe Box, in Black Earth. My dear blogging buddy Lisa D. from Priti Studio sent me some adorable ornaments that she made. Aren't these something? I know she thinks I should just get the boots and be done with it. This one, she made will entertain me until I lose those first 25 pounds. Thank you Lisa! SMOOCH

I'm off to do some householder chores, lunch and then back over to the studio. I'm making progress with the projects that I wanted to work on this month. It's so nice to be ahead of the game instead of rushing to catch up.

:)Bea Create as if it was your last chance to do so.

  2. The snow IS beautiful, but I will keep viewing it from afar thank you very much! :) We are dipping into the 20's for a few days and that's unusual for us. Brrrrr!
OK....You have convinced me to try the temporal tapping. I need to check you previous posts to see how to do it again. :)

  4. I no longer do heavy shoveling. John likes to use the snowblower. We are only three weeks into winter, I wonder how long before he gets really, really tired of clearing our Looooooooooooooooooooong driveway. lol :)Bea

  5. Gosh Bea, that is some snow. It looks like the UK does at the moment! And that's very unusual. Where's the global warming when you need it! A snow blower sounds such fun but we haven't had the snow to blow, just frost and ice.

You have been so busy and so industrious, well done and you've finished your doll. Wow. I never seem to be able to get a solid lump of time in the studio. I must try and do that and shut the door so I can't see the kitchen.

Your temporal tapping seems to be working so well. Incredible. If it works for your food intake, I'm having another go at it.

Love the 2 ornaments from Lisa, they are super. The boot one made me laugh.
    Keep warm and keep tapping.

  7. So glad your Full Moon Wolf doll is done, and I can't wait to see it! Mine needed a redo -- face wasn't big enough -- but it's relaxing so I don't mind. I'm glad I still have lots of time.
The snow is headed our way here in South Jersey. I hope it looks as lovely as your Wisconsin landscape.

  8. Thanks for stopping by my blog today...the children down the hill made their incredible snowman with the crooked but wonderful smile. I have worked on a woolen sweater to wear in the sun-zero weather we are having for the next five or so days but tomorrow when we are all bundled up at home I can add another layer to my wolf background. I am grateful to have found you and your temporal tapping exercises. :-) Imagine and Live in a warm Peace, Mary Helen Fernandez Stewart

  9. What's Temporal Tapping? Yes, the headache is diet coke withdrawal, I'm afraid. And a good thing you junked the junk - awful stuff and addictive.
I buy apple juice and fizzy mineral water, then drink it half-half - homemade soda if you will and delicious.

  10. Trust me, you're not missing much in diet sodas.

Being a diabetic, I find that they're pretty much a necessary evil, although I've switched at home from diet soda to seltzer/sparkling soda.

Don't do the unsweetened stuff anymore though.

  11. Thanks G. I'm really trying to get rid of all unnecessary chemicals in my body. I never used the sweetener packages. Hell, if I'm going to add something that pretends it's sugar, I'll just add sugar. It's all the stuff I can't pronounce, spell or understand that I really need to keep out of my system. Well, that's the plan. :)Bea

  12. Well, I'm glad you at least have an ornament that looks like the red boots (lol). The snow is beautiful and even more so when you don't have to do the shoveling. I'm impressed with your ambition and all that you have accomplished. I'm still working on my full moon wolf doll.
