I return.

I do miss this view from our upper deck. Frankly, I miss the green and blues and warmth and having my family around me. We all had a wonderful vacation. We laughed, smiled, ate together, played in the waves together, drank Red Stripe, ate at Skinny Legs, drove on switchback roads that could make a person car sick if you could actually travel fast, on them. With the threat of somebody FORGETTING that they should be driving on the LEFT and coming around a blind curve, we all drove very carefully.

The flights down and back are horrible memories that soon fade. I didn't think it was possible for airlines to make the seats and space between them any smaller but they seem to have managed. All my children, big and small travelled well and not one of them will be the main character of some other traveler's horror story Considering we were on a plane from St. Thomas to Atlanta that stretched into a five hour flight, little Riley, six months old was a treat.
We have come back to faded blue skies and snow and FRIGID temperatures. Leave here will you! HA Let's see how your thinned blood likes this and this.

I've been doing householder tasks and while doing laundry or grocery shopping my mind wanders to my 2010 plans for projects in the studio. First off is to get to work on my January, Full Moon, art doll.

I hope you all had a wonderful holiday and are excited about the NEW YEAR. I know I am.
So, thanks for being patient while I was gone. I'm glad you came back.

:) Bea Who reminds you almost daily TO CREATE!

  3. Oh Gosh! I do miss this. They are still as lovely as when I last saw them. Sorry you had bad flights. We are planning a trip to Turks and Caicos sometime in the spring. I am anxiously looking forward to that. Glad you had a good time there, and welcome back!

  5. Welcome back - vacations are great, aren't they? It's been cold and will be cold where you are, but you're used to it.

Frightening how busy you are... I'm impressed with all your creative projects. Looking forward to seeing them.

  10. Welcome back!!! You don't get out of winter that easy, suffer like the rest of us :)
I think winter is earlier with its brutality this year, but I am focusing on my art...so you don't have to remind me to create.
Glad you're home safe with sweet memories.
    Love to you...

  12. Hello there ~waves~, so good to have you back, I have missed you too. Your vacation sounds just marvellous and I'm sure you feel recharged and ready to go for 2010. Flights are just a necessary evil as far as I'm concerned.

My studio is now full of 'stuff' and junk and just as I like it!! lol. I need more room though.

Much love and hugs from Ireland at minus 10 degrees. Crazy crazy weather.
