Full Wolf Moon quilt block - Jan 2010

I hadn't planned on starting this block yet but I was folding and ironing fabric to put away when I saw some that I just had to use. Well, you know how that goes by the time I tried it out I had gathered everything else I needed. CAN I SAY AGAIN, HOW MUCH I LOVE MY STUDIO.
Boy, to have everything I need in one place and organized is soooooooooo wonderful.

My plan is to do a 12 1/2" block every month. I'll have a pretty unique quilt when I am done.

:)Bea Create it's good for your soul.

P.S. If you read this far then here is a real treat for you. I think, my friend Deb sent me this.
It's from the New Zealand Council on Books - WHERE BOOKS COME ALIVE

  1. I love this block! The semblance of people in the foreground is perfect -- subtle, yet definitely there. It will be a treat to see all 12 blocks come together.

  3. I love the block, too. Somehow it made me laugh because it is reminiscent of so many talks we've had over the years--it's you.

The New Zealand Book Council animation is stunning! There is creativity and there are creative tools. So much of what I see is just the use of tools. This piece is using tools to exponentially push creativity. Thanks for sharing this. It made my day!

  6. Awww, thanks Yvonne. I'm having a lot of fun with these blocks and now that I am combining them with my storytellers all I need to do is start composing short stories to go with the quilt. :)Bea
