The Blue Chair Challenge

Some time back last summer I took a picture of this lovely little blue chair that somebody, on the farm, had placed in front of this well worn shed. Yvonne, of Ink Spillers Attic, fell in love with it and we both decided to make something from the picture.
Yvonne has finished her art quilt and it's amazing. You really need to go to her link and see it. Be sure to click the picture so you can see it up close.
Yvonne I just love your piece. http://inkspillersattic.blogspot.com/

:)Bea Who needs to get back to the studio and finish creating The Blue Chair.

  4. Hey, I was surprised to see that you had finished it so fast and wow to add all those cool elements.
I'm more inspired to keep plugging away at mine. I went out this morning to the studio and ripped out a section. I knew when I did it I wasn't happy with it..sigh...takes a night to perk before I take action. :)Bea

  5. Bea I soooo love this blue chair photograph...I am going to save this image for a collaboration in my February Moon piece. I am trying to finish my January White Moon composition but today was totally Morgan's day! Imagine and live in Peace, Mary Helen Fernandez Stewart

  6. Love that you took a photo again in the snow. The stor y continues. Yes, Yvonne's piece is wonderful. Wouldn't the "chair placer" be surprised by what that act initiated?

Love the trees in the header. ARe the trees in the foreground really that black or did you treat them?

  7. Hey you! Yup, the photo is untouched just like the last header was. Fog just does strange things to pictures, it's why I love it so. I never really know what's going to come out when I upload them.
The chair is right now the road at the farm. I'm thinking that when we get finished I might take some picture down there for them. Somebody had a moment when they decided to put that blue chair put there. :)Bea
