Riley, 6 months on the 27th, is now sitting unsupported. She is also making "old man with no teeth" gumming faces much to our amusement. She's quite the noise maker. Nothing that really sounds like anything yet but she definitely has found her voice.
This is one of my favorite postcards that I made quite a while ago. On the other side it says:
"Brought to you by THE ORDER of fine Zettites of Zettiaba."
This one says: "Augustas loved his job." From the Zetti Corkey JournalsThis one is made of fabric scraps, machine quilting and accents of acrylic paint. It's on it's way to Centralia, WA
This one is a new acrylic postcard. On the other side it reads "You can always trust fish", said Maddie, "they never let you down." It's on it's way to Battleford, CanadaAnd, this one is on it's way to Greece. It's done in the style of Hundertwasser and I have to say I really want to do some larger pieces like this, they are sooooooooo much fun, for me.
It's bright, beautiful and cold here. I'm off to run errands today. My Christmas vacation is fast approaching. I am so excited. My children and their children are all meeting up in Atlanta and then flying down to St. John's. We've all rented a house together. We will be there for about eight nights. We are very fortunate to be able to do this and to spend time making memories together. It means a great deal to me. This year we add a six month old to the mix. What fun.
OK, I'm off to the post office to mail out the calendars and postcards. Then to stop at the market, thank the bell ringer for ringing the bell and put something in the bucket. It's a hard time, right now for many folks. Remember what you share with others does come back with good karma. And, we can always use more good KARMA.
