FROM MY STUDIO TO YOURS

This is it, folks. We leave today. The house sitter comes soon, to get settled in. The winter storms are advancing across Iowa. We leave just in time for freezing rain and snow to arrive. I will miss my new studio. I left out my paints and paper, hoping that like the shoemaker and the elves, the art elves would have fun creating while I was gone.
The bags are being packed, repacked, things shuffled around as we try to get everything into our one "free" piece of luggage.

I probably won't be able to post and so it's going to seem like a long time until we talk again.
If I don't have access to a computer I'll be back on line January 3rd. So, mark your calendars and don't think I have closed up shop and moved on to something else. I'll be back.
I leave you with this picture of the barn and my studio on the second floor. It's bleak, the color is inside the building. That's how our days look right now, gray, white and shades of brown.
I am so blessed that soon I will see green, turquoise and bright colors. It will refresh my soul.

Good friends, enjoy this season. Connect up with your friends and family. But, most of all find time to create. Find a way to work it into the day. It will keep you centered. It will connect you to your soul. It will make you smile.

:)Bea Create and make your soul joyful.

  1. I will miss your posts Bea. Be careful, enjoy yourself. Relax, take lots of pictures, laugh. I wish you peace and joy. Will look forward to your return to blog land. Can't wait to see what you do when you get back to your studio. :) I will be taking some time off myself, to replenish my soul. Until then.......
