Long day into night and then GLEE!

Ok, this is more like the color of the studio. See, it's yellow but not knock your socks off yellow. I spent the morning in the garage studio/mess, organizing and filling, two large plastic drawers that I found at Target.
They are taller than the usual storage drawers, they actually come up to counter height. They have two thin drawers and two deep ones. It didn't take me long to fill all eight drawers. And, sadly, anybody looking at the garage right now would wonder what on earth I did this morning. sigh.......

Isn't she just adorable? She was on her way out the door to day care.

I'm tired and my back hurts. I backed the lawn tractor out of the barn and Murphy and I took it down and around the prairie to dump old vegetation.
Then of course, I couldn't get it started again. Murphy was getting into trouble exploring in the weeds and I didn't want to spend my evening brushing burrs out of his fur, so I called him and we hiked back up to the house. It was at the back door that I remembered that I had forgotten to check and see if I had run out of gas. I tell you, my mind didn't used to be this scattered. I have no idea what that little "file guy" is doing in my brain, anymore. Maybe there was too much chair dancing this morning.

So, I have to hike back down, with John and see if we/he can get it running again. I had so many "pick up" chores to do with the tractor wagon today.
I'll have to get them done tomorrow, between the rain showers. They tell us high of 44 degrees on Saturday! Now, that's just not right.

Tonight is the show, Glee. I don't know if any of you watch it but it's a lot like watching a musical about high school. I would say it a lot like High School Musical but I haven't seen that yet. Anyway, I like the music, the story line is light but frankly, at the end of a long day, that's all I want.

I hope you enjoy your evening. I hope you did something creative today.
I'm off to enjoy some Tuna Casserole with my family. :)Bea

  1. Haven't seen Glee yet, but been wanting to. Your grandbaby is soooo cute, looks so warm in that outfit. At the rate is is getting cold up there she needs it. 44!!! Whoa! We're still in the 90's! Cooling off to 70's this weekend. Will be planting some more of my fall garden this weekend.

  5. Oooh! A yellow like this always factors into my dreams for a studio makeover but unfortunately, the landlord probably wouldn't be amused! What a warm, lovely place this will be for you to create! And yes, she is beyond adorable! xo - Michelle

  6. Thanks Michelle, today it's another gray day and I'm thinking I'll go over there to just sit a bit and soak in that brightness.
She wasn't so adorable last night when I had her to babysit and she cried from 6:00pm to 9:30pm. Lots of walking and rocking. :)Bea
