It's that time of the year!

MY mood just takes a nosedive when the skies turn gray.
It's not raining but it's cold and damp and gray.
So, I have been entertaining myself by unhooking my computer tower and taking it over to Best Buy to have the Geek squad look at it and tell me why everything is running so slowly.
IT'S DRIVING ME NUTS.

Casey, very nicely ran a scan for infections and found none.
He told me that the fan was running fine even though every morning when I boot up it tells me that the fan isn't running and to press F2. He told me that the copies of the AOL program that I have on this computer are corrupted so I better remove them.
I have and now I'm using Mozilla Firefox which he recommend over everything else. Even over my Internet Express.
Things seemed to have settled down now at the computer desk and everybody is playing nicely. For now.
I have oodles of stuff to still pull out of the garage and take over to the studio. That's the plan for today. :)
Oh, John corrected me and the young man that put down the tile for us is Nick not Jason. Sorry about that guys.
Ok, that's all for now. Back to work, I go.
Hope YOU get to create something today. :)Bea

  2. I think I downloaded Firefox a while ago when SuziBlu told me to.
Then I just didn't use it. So far, I've been really pleased with how fast everything has been, especially compared to how it was. :)Bea

  3. Love your pumpkin/jack-o-lantern!
Firefox? I've heard of it. Maybe that's what I need as my computer has been awfully slow lately as well. I will check into it.
