A grown up rant.

I have nothing to say
It's much to gray
It's cold
It's gloomy
And
I want to play.

sigh..................I don't want to spend my afternoon pulling dead plants out of the garden. I don't want to put away my pool toys and picnic dishes. This is totally unfair to have winter step into fall's place in line.

This is just sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo unfair.

  1. I wish I could send some of my good weather up your way Bea. It has been wonderful here. Cool, rainy at times, green finally! We will be back hot again soon enough and then cool again by the weekend, but that's how it goes down here. Never very cold though. Believe it or not we did have snow one year...on Christmas Day. didn't last long, but we had 6 inches! WooHoo!

  2. I'm ranting right along with you as our weather here on the extreme Pacific coast has turned grey and stormy, complete with our first power outage of the season. What happened to fall? Here's to hoping the bluster passes and we can return to a few more days of a peaceful, wistful autumn! xo - Michelle

  3. Yvonne, send it on up. Unfortunately, I think it goes East of us when it does come up this way. And, what Michelle is going to be sending me doesn't make me smile at all. :)Bea

  4. Michelle, you just keep that stuff out there, will you? The trees are starting to turn and I haven't even been able to get a picture of the leaves against a blue sky.
I was going to do that today but I just looked out again and the sky is clouding up, FAST. What's up with this weather? :)bea

  5. We all need to have a "grow up" rant every once and while.

    Keeps us on our toes.

As for the weather, ours is starting to turn that way. Temps this week are now in the hi 50's/lo 40's.

Still sunny though, but more breezy.
