Wonderful Fiber Postcards Have Arrived.

This beautiful summer leaf arrived from Riviera, Tx, by Yvonne. The back of the postcard had a wonderful collaged map and leaves.
This beautiful Cone Flower came up from Dallas, Tx and from Pam. Very detailed flowers with great stitching.

Jan sent me this great looking postcard from Arizona, It certainly reminded me of the colors of the mountains and desert.
Thanks to all of you for making my day when I picked up my mail. It's so wonderful to get little works of art in your mailbox. This has been a fun swap.

  1. Glad you like the pc Bea. The leaf was a sunprinted squash leaf from my garden and then free motion quilted. The back was paper fabric that I made from pressed leaves from my yard and an old map etc. It was a fun swap.

  2. I wondered about that. How cool I hope you did a number of them to save for winter projects. I loved the back. An excellent postcard and a welcome addition to my collection.
I keep them in an old wooden treasure box and people just love to pick up the box, sit down and look at the cards. They are in awe.
Thanks for stopping by and please come again. :)Bea

  7. I hope so. I signed up next to nine names in the Database and I didn't really check to see how many people had signed up next to my name. I like the surprise, you know. :)Bea

  8. They are so pretty Bea. I just love the one you sent to me, it sits in front of my computer screen for me and anyone passing (Jim, Buster, the cats) to admire. When we are organised again (ha ha) I will frame it.

  9. Gina, Gina, you don't have to frame it, keep it as a book mark something to make you smile when you see it and think of your "sister" in art across the pond. :)Bea
