Peony time

My Peonies are just about to open up. I love them. A true old fashion flower in my garden. I used to have a white one and a pale pink one at the old house. Someday, I'll add those two to my little collection I have now. They seem to do well on the inside of the garden fence.
The climbing roses are in bud too. There is nothing like a good rain to get things going.
John dropped Murphy off at puppy day care. He's getting groomed this morning so he'll be looking quite dapper when I pick him up.
I'll be going back to bed to sleep off the pain meds from last night.
She, the dentist, was quite pleased at the removal of the tooth. Although, she looked at the root canal that had been done to it and was flummoxed as to why there had been a cyst on the bone.
I don't want to go through that again for a long time. No drills used but just the sound of yanking and pulling is still in my head. I can't image how people long ago dealt with tooth pain or even tooth removal.
I really want to get to my seventh lesson in my layer class. It's the Pink Page. I like pink so this should be a fun one. I'm just going to have to get some more sleep so I can keep my eyes open.
Thanks for stopping by. I tinkered with the set up, of the blog, in hopes that would do something for the comment section, Linda. I hope it's working now. :)Bea

  1. Oh Bea, what a beautiful Peony. And the color is amazing. You're so lucky to have them growing in your yard.
