Come take a walk with me.

Ok, I know I promised no more tadpole pictures but hey, look at the size of those two. Click on the pictures to see them better. They are getting huge!
A pair of ducks were visiting the pond last night. Do ducks eat tadpoles?
We can come back and sit under the Willow after our walk, come on..............

Look at all the Phlox it's just beautiful in here. Like a fairyland.

Ok, I'm sorry we had to follow the deer path and then fight our way through the brambles to get to this path. It's our neighbor's path and it runs right along side of our property line, in the woods. They do such a nice job of keeping it up and it's much nicer to walk on, don't you agree.
Here, let me take that sticky weed out of your hair.

They have some beautiful ferns growing along the path.

I feel like I'm on the way to Grandmother's house.

It just keeps going on and on, what a wonderful path. Are you paying attention, John. It's nice and wide so two people can comfortably walk on it. He cuts it with his tractor lawnmower..........it's ever so nice...............

Wonderful old tree.

I just love new growth on pine trees. It's such a gorgeous color.
Ok, I'm sorry I forgot the way we got onto the path. I'm sorry we had to plow back out through the berry bushes and brambles. I'm sorry you stepped in deer poop. sigh..............if only we had a path in the woods.........

New growth on the Blue Spruce.

  3. Flip flops! What were you thinking? All the time I was looking at the pictures, I thought of Frost's poem, THE ROAD NOT TAKEN. How really beautiful. Also, loved the chairs under the willow.

  5. Beautiful pictures, Bea. Did your neighbors know you were walking through their path? LOL! I guess it's an OK thing when you've got a huge lot, huh?
