Busy day. Murphy is asleep at my feet having little puppy dreams about puppy day care. They had a new puppy there today, name of Fred. Murphy spent most of the time, so I am told, doing the meet and greet with Fred.
He's quite social my little guy is.
I've posted some pictures I took today, out in the garden and the pond. I put them in an album, here's the link: http://picasaweb.google.com/bea3150/InTheGardenAtDogInTheHole#
I'm taking an online drawing class from SusieBlu. It's called Petite Dolls.
I've always shied away from actually drawing faces but it's time I learned how. I'm thinking that once I learn this I can apply it to faces for my art dolls.
So far my classmates have been cheerful, eager to meet one another and happy to be in the class. I love online classes. :)
I am going to have to go back and redo two of my Layer Love assignments. I'm not happy with one of them and I haven't even done the other. Somehow I skipped right over it.
Mary is still in the last stages of pregnancy. Her head hurts, her feet are swollen, the baby is playing kickball on her bladder, the usual. Her doctor appointment is for this Thursday and remember last week he said he didn't think he would see her this week. So, we are all waiting to see what is going to happen.
Oh, and I need to say this again, I LOVE MY NEW CAMERA. Can you see me smiling? :)Bea

  1. Wow, BEA! I just finished viewing the sliced rocks and I swear, I thought I saw a forest, waterfall, lava flowing, and buttons! OH wait, those were from the fiber collection. LOL!!
Very nice and I bet your camera is feeling very loved these days. LOL!

  2. Thankyou for visiting my blog Bea, and your blogfriend in Ireland is one of mine too. I love reading her news. Lovely photos on yours and I think it's a great idea to do online classes. I need to learn more on the use of paints and mediums, as well as how to draw. I'll be back to see what you are doing and good luck to Mary - hope she has her baby soon. I can feel for her - it gets so uncomfortable towards the end.
