I met up with a friend today and we decided to drive over to Belleville and see the White Gulls that are stopping over on their way up north. I saw these when I was down in Florida this winter. They are HUGE birds with gorgeous black tips on their large wing span. I understand there are about 50 of them out on the little lake in Belleville.
Trying to find a way to get closer to the Gulls we came across this rather original yard art. It was hard to get a picture of the number of these that were scattered throughout the yard.
And, the top picture is a quilt I just started this morning called something about boxes. I forget the exact pattern title. It's rather relaxing to do. I'm using batiks so I'm enjoying the beautiful colors.
