Workshop in my jammies.

Ok, so I wasn't really in my jammies but I could have been. I decided to watch my two new DVDs again, Laura Wasilowski Teaches You to Create Fused Art Quilts and Whimsical House Quilt by Jamie Fingal. Both fun and informative workshops to take in your home.
I had it in mind to do three of these for the baby's room.
I still have to add some machine embroidery just because I love to do that.
Then I have to quilt it. It's 11 1/2" by 11 1/2" so I may put a border on it to make it 12 inches. We'll see.
I 'm still pulling things out of the orphan box of blocks. Blocks that I was trying something and didn't particularly like where it was going.
The colors for this was from a few batik crazy quilt blocks I had put together. Batik isn't the easiest thing in the world to pull a needle through so I changed my mind about doing a crazy quilt with them.
They worked perfectly for this project. I like all the color variations. I think it's a nice bright fun little thing to brighten up the baby's room.
