Murphy and I took a little drive to catch this sunset.
I've had to hold John back from uncovering all the patio furniture. He has spring fever. He even put the snowblower in the barn. He did get the Christmas wreath down from the front of the house. It's a good thing, too, because the Purple Finches had practically moved in or on. Tomorrow, they say it might get up to 60 which I am hoping will melt the last of the piles of snow around here. There is still a thick layer of ice on top of the pool cover.
I've been working on a baby quilt for my daughter. It's theme is butterflies since she loves them and it seems like a fitting theme for a new mother and baby. I'll post pictures tomorrow when I have something worthwhile to see. Right now it's in a lot of pieces on the design wall.
I received three used books from Amazon today. All in excellent condition as usual. The first is Energy Medicine by Donna Eden. I can't wait to take a look at that one. The second is another book by Catherynne Valente, A Guide to Folktales in Fragile Dialects. Don't you just love that title? She's the author of the book In the Night Garden. The third is one that I would just love to curl up right now and read but I can't. It's Primal Myths, Creation Myth's Around the World by Barbara Sproul. It's packed full of fascinating information.
So, I'm off to let Murphy outside one more time then back to the studio to work on the quilt. Thanks for stopping by. :)Bea
