I took this this photograph, at the Antique Store. He reminded me of what my fictional character ZettiCorkey might have looked like in one of his many lifetimes.
Yesterday was puppy day care for Murphy and errand day for me. It was cold and rainy and just the day to have a doctor's appointment, go grocery shopping, fill up the tank of my car only to see they raised the price of gas AGAIN. I think I spent all day running around or on the phone, setting up appointments for next week. I'm glad it's all done and I can get back to the things I really enjoy doing for the rest of the week.
I'm working on some thread play on the three little wall quilts I made for the baby's room. I'm using variegated thread and really having way to much fun.
I'm baking cookies right now. Coconut, pecan, oatmeal crunchies. They smell delicious. It's a new recipe so we'll see if they pass the COOKIE MONSTER'S taste test, tonight.
I've also got a pot of homemade vegetable soup simmering on the stove.
It's so damp and chilly and not spring like at all outside. I needed to make the house smell good.
Thanks for stopping by, hope you have a wonderful creative day!! :)Bea
