My dear, sweet husband came home from work bearing these beautiful flowers. He hoped the colors would make me smile between coughing fits. He also brought home ice cream and for once it wasn't for him but to make me a vanilla mint milkshake for dinner.
He had a Fat Squirrel and Indian food and I had a milkshake that tasted so wonderful on the back of my throat.
He said the house smelled great when he got home and that was from the confetti cake. The frosting was green I have no idea why Hayden picked green but it worked for me and my mint milkshake theme. I put the candles in and lit them and then I told hubby to come over and make a wish and blow them out with me.
I tell you the man is a saint. He didn't even break stride as he ambled over, held my hand and blew out the candles with me. I told him that I was proud of him, he replied with, "The way you sound it could be your last birthday cake." A bittersweet reply but then I may have reinfected him when we blew on the cake.
The last picture is Louie watching the two of us. This has been is normal expression for anything that John and I do, like work on our puzzle or watch a tv show, STUPID, STUPID, STUPID.
