Gray days in winter call for two things. First cooking up a pot of chili and second cleaning out some closets or cupboards. Today, I started the chili and decided to wash the inside of my kitchen windows.
I had a number of cat nose prints on them that just didn't look very attractive.
Remember the book, If You Give A _____ A Cookie? Fill in the animal. Well, cleaning the windows is a lot like that book. It leads to cleaning the pretties that I have on the window sills, lots of blue glass. Then it leads to cleaning my north corner.
I will admit it, I am very superstitious. It may have been being raised by Pennsylvania Dutch/German parents and grandparents. I cringe when I hear somebody say something that they should be knocking on wood when they are saying it. I find myself looking around quickly to see if there is any wood around that I can knock for them. There is salt on my floor from being thrown over my shoulder.
Anywho, I cleaned off my penny pig, cleaned the turtle and the quartz stone that all reside in my north corner of my house. That's to attract money to come into my life. With these times I think it's a good idea to cover all the bases, you know?
So, it's time to go check on the chili. Hope you are having a great day and thanks for stopping by.
