John and I were shopping in the local do it your self store, Menards when this BEAUTIFUL STANLEY TOOL BOX caught my eye. It's wonderful for taking art supplies to a workshop or my little travel sewing machine and fabric to classes. It was only $39.99 and I think that's a real bargain. It has sturdy wheels and it's easy to pull over uneven surfaces. The hard shell means that there won't be any damage from the elements or accidents. The inside is 14" deep,14" wide and 22 1/2" long. You can get a LOT of stuff in there. There is a lift out caddy with wide spaces and the top of the chest has two long compartments with tight closures for more storage of smaller things.
I am taking a sculpture workshop at the end of April at Valley Ridge Art Studio, in Wisconsin.
This is going to be perfect for hauling my supplies back and forth to class. It really doesn't take a lot to make me happy.
I'm also going to be teaching two workshops this spring and again in the summer at the local Verona Public Library. The workshops are geared for pre-teens and teens. This will com in very handy for taking my supplies to those workshops. Last year I had two very large and awkward plastic boxes.
I've decided to spend the night at Valley Ridge instead of driving back and forth that Saturday and Sunday. I'll be sleeping in the farm house in the Meadowlark room. If I remember correctly it's a bright yellow room. I like that.
